Sounds Like Footsteps On My Roof

Trust me it sounds loud like a freaking human walking. I ve occasionally woken up to what i thought were foot step. Most of the noises seem to be coming from the top of the walls. I should also mention racoons birds and other animals make the same sound.

There are loud banging noises coming from our attic roof. As i sit here in bed trying to get some sleep i cannot. This is a much larger animal than a rat or bird and it usually easy to tell its presence from the much heavier and slower footfalls and they don t gnaw wood like the rodents will. It could be any number of animals walking around on your roof.

A lot of things sound like foot steps but if they go on and on for hours no matter what there s a good chance that noise is something else. It doesn t really come across in the video but the sound was impossible to pin down. I was cleaning leaves on my roof when this weird wave of low level sound started. Its not all in one area.

It literally sounds like someone punching sheetrock. Communal living and sleeplessness will do it.
