These bowed tiles are a big problem with shower floors that have less than 2 grade built into them.
I cannot tell you the last time i tiled a perfectly flat shower and unless you are using mosaics or really small tiles you will have to vary your thinset application to fix any issues.
For wet areas such as shower walls you must take certain precautions.
