For tough set in stains mix water and 2 tablespoons of liquid laundry detergent together in a spray bottle. Spray the solution onto the stain and let it sit for several minutes. Instead use a mild ph neutral cleaner that won t streak or discolor the tile. You begin the process by filling a bucket with warm water. Sweep or vacuum your tile floors regularly to keep them from getting dull. Next dip your mop into the mop bucket and be sure to wring it thoroughly.

These mops are best for cleaning tile because sponge mops tend to push dirty. Let two teabags steep in the boiling water for a few minutes. Choose the right floor mop. Mix all three ingredients together in a small squeeze top container.

A large bottle of liquid laundry detergent fulfills most of your cleaning needs. Squeeze this mixture onto the grout that needs cleaning and let it sit for five to seven minutes. With two buckets a mop and a little elbow grease even the worst spills are easily cleaned with only 1 4 cup of laundry detergent. Clean tile with mild detergent and clean water using a rag or chamois type mop rather than a sponge mop.

Do not use vinegar or chemicals on granite or marble tile floors. Allow the floor to air dry. Step 4 combine cup white vinegar with 1 gallon warm water for cleaning especially dirty parquet floors. Pour the tea into a bucket.

After it sits scrub at the grout with the grout brush or another stiff brush. Mop the floor in the same manner as you would with plain water. The tannic acid in tea creates a beautiful shine for hardwood floors. If you have already used sawdust or kitty litter to absorb oil stains you can use soda to clean up everything that remains.

Place cup of vinegar in the large mop bucket which now has warm water in it. Use a clean cloth to blot the stain and clean it away. Overlap your mop strokes to ensure that no area of the floor is missed while cleaning. Allow the floor to air dry.

After sweeping up the sawdust pour soda on the entire area. Avoid cleaning products that contain lemon vinegar or other acidic substances. Clean up loose debris. Use boiling water and two teabags to clean hardwood floors.
