The best way to use this mixture to clean carpet with vinegar is to sprinkle the baking soda on the stain first. For stains and using the peroxide too dab and gently rub the area. You want to make sure to not rub the stain in. Spray the solution liberally on the carpet or use it for cleaning an area rug without a carpet cleaner.

1 cup oxiclean 1 cup febreze 1 cup distilled white vinegar. Pour the rubbing alcohol and lysol concentrate into the reservoir too. Put the cap back on and thoroughly shake. Finally fill the remaining space in the tank with white vinegar.

Mix the vinegar and water in a glass spray bottle. Make sure to stop at the fill here line to make sure you don t overfill the tank. While the vacuum collects loose dirt it does not actually clean the carpet fibers themselves. Vinegar is very acidic and has a ph of about 2 4 compared to a neutral ph of 7.

To use pour one cup of white vinegar into the bissell s reservoir tank. Then you use the spray bottle with the baking soda with a vinegar and water mixture. Fill the water reservoir about halfway full with clean warm water. If just using the vinegar baking soda to refresh carpet you can scrub it.

Mix them into shampooer tank and mix with hot water to fill the tank completely. Fill the tank the rest of the way with hot water. Clean your carpet with laundry detergent. Carpets often require a deep cleaning treatment that a vacuum cleaner alone will not achieve.
